~ Valerie Schull ~

is a Tucson native, and is the newest member of Sonoran Bells (joined in 2010).  She is currently a Student Adviser at a local college.  Valerie went to George Fox University in Newberg, OR, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She completed Practicums at the local Habitat for Humanity and Love Inc (Love in the Name of Christ).

Valerie loves listening to and playing all kinds of music, and plays violin, handbells, and piano. She learned to play handbells in church almost 15 years ago, and has been playing ever since. In college, she was first violin in the George Fox University string quartet, and played in the George Fox University Symphony Orchestra. Valerie also played violin in several drama productions, and recorded violin on several independent cds. She went to Canyon del Oro High School here in Tucson where she enjoyed playing the violin, singing in choir, and playing tennis.

Valerie also loves spending time with her family and friends, reading, hiking, and traveling. She had the privilege of seeing her Grandfather honored at a review at West Point at his 60th class reunion in 1996. Places she has enjoyed visiting are Hawaii, Yellowstone National Park, Europe, and Greece. She hopes to visit Alaska, Canada, Ireland, tropical islands, and many other places!
