Kathy Hendrickson. . . .

began ringing handbells in her church choir in 1992 and has been with Sonoran Bells since its inception. She has solo and small ensemble experience, but especially loves ringing with the full choir -- the treble bells in particular, where she can be challenged by four-in-hand. She has had the privilege of studying with Don Allured, Kay Cook, and Bill Payn at the annual Handbell Explo Conferences in Phoenix. A music major in college, Kathy still enjoys playing the flute (and has performed on flute with Sonoran).

Kathy hails originally from Boston, MA. She and her husband Kaleb are both elementary school teachers. They have a dog, Riley, and a cat, Jake. Kathy enjoys traveling (especially to a beach), reading, and going to Arizona Diamondback games (although she is a devoted Red Sox fan). Her travels have taken her as far as Taiwan, where she grew up (her parents were missionaries), and South Africa, when she was a flutist with the Continental Singers Christian musical group. She would love to travel to Australia, and if she won the Power-Ball Lottery, a remodeled kitchen would first on her list!
